US-Sovereign by Design

Not just American. Resilient across every critical dependency layer.

When an upstream dependency fails - policy, infrastructure, model access, positioning signals, communications - Garage Defense keeps operating. That is not a marketing claim. It is an architectural requirement.

Why this matters

In May 2026, a major foundation-model vendor was excluded from portions of the Pentagon's IL6/IL7 ecosystem after policy restrictions were deemed incompatible with deployment requirements. Defense-AI companies dependent on that single dependency layer lost their delivery path at the same moment.

Garage Defense was unaffected. Sovereignty is about survivability.

The question is simple: If a critical dependency is disrupted, does the platform continue operating?

At Garage Defense, the answer is yes.

The architecture

US-domiciled data infrastructure.

Primary data providers are US-domiciled. Critical data layers maintain independent US-based redundancy. Designed to eliminate single points of geopolitical or vendor dependency.

Domain-specialized AI.

Garage Defense develops its own LLMs and agent-to-agent substrate alongside the frontier models it consumes. Customers are never dependent on a single foundation-model provider or policy regime. If a vendor changes access, deployment, or usage terms, mission capability continues.

Resilient US alt-PNT.

Positioning, navigation, and timing for GPS-degraded environments through US alternative-PNT signal sources. Hardware-agnostic. Designed for contested environments. No dependency on adversary-controlled GNSS for routing continuity.

Sovereign AI engineering.

Garage Defense develops and operates its own AI developer-agent tooling and orchestration stack internally. The engineering capability required to maintain, adapt, and deploy the platform remains US-based and self-sufficient.

US operational resilience.

Operations distributed across US personnel and AWS GovCloud multi-region infrastructure. Designed to remain reachable by analyst, data feed, or voice under degraded conditions.

Self-sufficient customer access.

Every Garage Defense plan is self-sufficient at the customer access layer. Primary delivery is via Platform UI deployed in customer's AWS GovCloud tenant. When the primary channel is unavailable - customer cloud outage, network degradation, forward-deployed conditions with no computer access - secondary delivery via Garage Defense secure phone infrastructure continues uninterrupted. No single point of access failure. ‍

Designed for disconnected, degraded, intermittent, and low-bandwidth environments - including the moments when the operator only has a phone.

AI resiliency. US AI resiliency.

AI resiliency means the platform survives upstream foundation-model disruption - because Garage Defense combines frontier foundation models with internally developed domain-specialized systems.

US AI resiliency means the platform survives at the national capability layer too: sovereign data infrastructure, sovereign domain AI, sovereign alt-PNT, sovereign engineering, sovereign operations.

These are not added later as compliance features. They are designed in from day one.

Sovereign is not a slogan. It is a build constraint.

When the question becomes "If a vendor changes policy tomorrow, can the system still deliver?" - the architecture must already contain the answer. Garage Defense was built so it does.

Mission capability cannot depend on a single external permission layer.
